Fixed teeth, planned around your bite
You might be managing several failing teeth, or a denture that shifts when you eat. All-on-4 dental implants replace a full upper or lower arch with a fixed bridge anchored to four implants. Your new teeth stay in place, and only your dentist removes them.
Our Miami All-on-4 dental implants start with your bite. Before placing anything, we study how your jaw joints, muscles, and teeth work together, following our physiologic approach.
Which full-arch option fits you?
- All-on-4: Four implants carry the arch. The back two sit at an angle to use the bone you have, which can reduce the need for grafting.
- Same-day teeth: In suitable cases, you leave surgery with a fixed temporary bridge.
- Grafting first: When bone is thin, bone grafting or a sinus lift rebuilds the foundation.
If gum disease is behind your tooth loss, we begin with gum disease treatment so implants go into healthy tissue.
FAQs
How much do All-on-4 implants cost?
Miami All-on-4 dental implants are priced by case: one arch or two, how many teeth need removal, whether grafting is involved, and the material of your final bridge. We quote after your exam and CT scan. We take major credit cards and offer financing through CareCredit and HelloBasis.
Am I a candidate if I've worn dentures for years?
Often, yes. Long-term denture wear shrinks the jawbone, and the angled back implants are designed to anchor in the denser bone that remains. We assess bone health, bite alignment, and airway function before recommending a design.
How long does the process take?
Surgery for one arch usually happens in a single visit, and suitable cases leave with temporary fixed teeth that day. The implants then need time to fuse with the bone, generally three to six months. After that, your final bridge replaces the temporary one.
Does dental insurance cover full-arch implants?
Coverage varies by plan. Some policies pay toward extractions or the bridge, and most cap benefits with an annual maximum. We work with most PPO insurance plans, so bring your card to the consultation.
What is recovery like?
Expect swelling and soreness for the first several days, and a soft diet while the implants fuse. We offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation for surgery, and most people return to routine activity within a few days.
What to expect
- Exam and CT scan: We examine your mouth, take a 3D CT scan, and review your bone and bite with you.
- Digital planning: We map each implant digitally. Placement is guided or free-hand, depending on your case.
- Surgery day: We remove failing teeth and place the implants in our office.
- Final teeth: After healing, we fit your final bridge and adjust how your teeth meet.
